About the event
Hosted by the Des Moines Branch NAACP Women in the NAACP (WIN) Committee, this free gathering will bring together leaders of organizations serving and strengthening underserved, historically marginalized, and vulnerable communities to connect with Dr. Lori Suddick, President of Des Moines Area Community College.
About the Gathering
Inspired by Dr. Suddick’s vision of “Elevating the Community,” the evening will focus on connecting leaders, strengthening partnerships, and exploring opportunities to advance education, workforce development, equitable access, and community well-being so that all members of our community have the opportunity to thrive.
What to Expect
4:30–5:15 PM: Meet & Mingle
Brief introductions from community leaders, including each organization’s mission or purpose and any current or previous connection with DMACC
